How Paystack settlement works
Paystack processes the payment and typically settles the seller's full quoted price by direct bank transfer in T+1 to T+2 business days. T is the transaction date. Weekends, public holidays, Paystack's settlement schedule, and bank processing may affect when funds reflect.
- Monday: the buyer pays R1,065 for a R1,000 quote.
- Tuesday or Wednesday: the seller typically receives R1,000.
- Fee: the buyer paid the separate R65 payment processor fee; YeboWork commission is R0.
YeboWork does not hold job funds and there is no minimum settlement threshold.

Does YeboWork charge sellers commission?
No. YeboWork takes 0% commission and sellers receive 100% of their quoted job price.
What is the 6% + R5 charge?
It is the buyer-paid payment processor fee for secure online payment. It is not deducted from the seller's quote.
How long does settlement take?
Settlement typically takes T+1 to T+2 business days, where T is the transaction date. A Monday payment will usually reflect on Tuesday or Wednesday, subject to Paystack's schedule and bank processing.
Must I pay online?
No. Buyers and sellers can choose direct cash or EFT with no payment fee, or Pay on YeboWork for a recorded online transaction.
Are verification credits refunded if a check fails?
No. A processed attempt uses the provider's service whether it passes or fails, so the credits are non-refundable.
Do purchased credits expire?
Purchased credits do not expire. Promotional credits may have an expiry date shown in your account.
Does a marketing package automatically grant a Verified badge?
No. A qualifying package may cover the identity-check cost, but the badge is earned only after successfully completing verification.
