Payment Terms & Conditions

How online and direct payments, fees, settlement, security, refunds and disputes work on YeboWork.

Effective 13 September 2026 · Yebowork (Pty) Ltd t/a YeboWork

1. Payment processing

Paystack processes online buyer-to-seller payments on YeboWork. YeboWork takes 0% commission, does not hold job funds, and does not operate a withdrawable seller balance.

2. Payment methods

  • Pay on YeboWork: the buyer pays the quoted job price plus a 6% + R5 payment processor fee. Paystack processes the payment and settles the seller's full quoted price to their connected bank account.
  • Direct cash or EFT: the buyer pays the seller directly. No YeboWork payment fee applies, and the parties agree their own payment timing.

3. Settlement timeline

Paystack settlement typically takes T+1 to T+2 business days, where T is the transaction date. A payment made on Monday will usually reflect in the seller's bank account on Tuesday or Wednesday. This is an estimate, not a guarantee: Paystack's settlement schedule, bank processing, weekends, public holidays, reviews, and technical issues may affect the arrival time.

There is no YeboWork minimum settlement threshold. If two full business days have passed, check the payment status and connected bank details, then contact support with the order reference.

4. Fee example

  • Quoted job price: R1,000
  • Buyer-paid payment processor fee: R60 + R5
  • Total paid by buyer: R1,065
  • Amount settled to seller: R1,000
  • YeboWork commission: R0

5. Payment security and privacy

Paystack is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Card details are entered and processed through Paystack and are not stored by YeboWork. Buyers do not see a seller's bank details. YeboWork stores only the payment and settlement records needed to operate the order, provide receipts, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.

6. Refunds and disputes

Online-payment refunds are handled under our Returns & Refund Policy and Paystack's applicable rules. Cash and direct-EFT refunds must be arranged with the seller because YeboWork did not process those funds. For disputes, contact the other party through YeboWork first, then contact support if the issue remains unresolved.
